Look At Things As They Are

On a particularly bad day when I was struggling with a bout of imposter syndrome, my mom gave me sage advice: jobs are what people have made up to do.

Work is important for the health and advancement of society, but it’s not the be-all-end-all. Your job tile, salary, and performance are not correlated to your worth as a human being. Instead, value your attitude towards your work and resilience in the face of failure. That mindset will serve you better in life.
